One of the top runners on the squad in 2013, Kyle placed 9th at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree in the 5K (16:36) and placed 18th at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite (26:32.75) in the 8K.

JUNIOR
Kyle's top race of the 2012 season came at the Missouri S&T/Jackling Jocks Invite where he placed 38th ... Was 63rd at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships and was 73rd at the Missouri State/Richard Clark Invitational.

SOPHOMORE
Ran a best time of 26:58.9 at the GLVC Championship and had his highest finish of 52nd at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite (27:35). . . Ran a (27:34.81) at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree to open the season.

FRESHMAN
Ran in four meets with his top finish of 28th in the opening meet at Southwest Baptist where he finished 28th in the 5K with a time of 17:06.11. . . Ran his best 8K of the year at the Missouri Southern State Stampede with a 27:13.30 for 116th.

PREP...
Ran a 9.48 two mile and a 4:32 mile for his best times. . . Sartain, a native of Ozark, was a two-time cross country state qualifier for Ozark High School. . . He graduated summa cum laude, received a college prep certificate for leadership and had perfect attendance throughout his highschool career. . . Graduated with a 4.2 grade point average.
