SENIOR
Matt ran a 26:23.3 good enough for 49th at the Kansas Rim Rock Classic and ran a 26:30.99 at the GLVC Championship for 48th. . . Was 39th at the Missouri S&T Jacking Jocks Invite with a time of 27:58.88.

JUNIOR
Matt placed 30th at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree with a 17:23 in the 5K . . . Ran a 26:45 8K at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship.

SOPHOMORE
Matt had a pair of top 30 finishes with his best finish coming at the Missouri S&T/Jackling Jocks Invite where he was 27th and a 28th place finish at the Missouri State/Richard Clark Invitational ... Placed 74th at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships (27:29.70).

FRESHMAN
Competed in three of the Panthers four meets with a top time of 27:49.63 in the Panthers opening meet at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater. . . Was 65th at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite (28:02) and ran a 28:15.9 at the GLVC Championship.

PREP...
Was a three-time All-Conference and All-District runner in track and field and cross country for Liberty High School. . . Was a two-time state qualifier in the 1600 meter and in 2010 was the Class 4 District 8 champion in the 1600 meter. . . Personal records were 4:22 in the 1600 meter, 9:46 in the 3200 meter and 16:07 in the 5000 meter. . . Helped Liberty to a second place finish in Class 4A at the State track and field meet in 2010-11 and third place in cross country in 2008. . . Excellent student who was the class valedictorian and member of the National Honor Society.
