Senior season, Matt had his highest finishes of 2012 at the Missouri State/Richard Clark Invitational and at the Missouri S&T/Jackling Jocks Invite where he placed 23rd at both meets ... Junior year finished 28th at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite, second best on the team with a time of 26:42. . . Was 83rd at the GLVC Championship (27:05.9) and 100th at the NCAA-II Midwest Regional (34:53.7) ... Sophomore year Matt was one of the Panthers top runners who helped them qualify for their first ever NCAA-II National appearance. . . Placed eighth at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships in the 8K with a time of 25:22, which tied him for fifth best time by a Panther in an 8K race ... Placed 25th at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships (26:37.27) his freshman season.

SENIOR

SOPHOMORE
One of the Panthers top runners who helped them qualify for their first ever NCAA-II National appearance. . . Placed eighth at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships in the 8K with a time of 25:22, which tied him for fifth best time by a Panther in an 8K race. . . Was 34th at the 8K at the Missouri Southern State Stampede (25:34.20). . . Placed 38th at the NCAA-II Midwest Regional with a 10K time of (32:35.52). . . His 32:12.52 at the Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival ranks fourth fastest time by a Panther in a 10K race.

FRESHMAN
Placed 25th at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships (26:37.27). . . Had his best time of 26:04.68 at the Missouri Southern State Stampede. . . Ran a 27:09.60 at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree.

Set the school record for Rolla High School in the mile (4:20) where he placed sixth at the Class 4A State Championships in 2009. . . In 2008-09 he was also on the school record setting 800 meter sprint medley relay team (1:57.80). . . In 2008 he was 17th at the state meet and in 2007 he won the district in the 1,600 meter.
