Tripp had a pair of top 20 finishes at the Brickyard Crossing where he tied for 16th with rounds of 77, 75 and a season low 72 and he tied for 20th top open Fall play at the Arch Cup with rounds of 77 and 79 for a 156 total. . . Had a 77.7 stroke average in the Fall and a 84 average for the Spring.

JUNIOR
Tripp placed third at the Buc with rounds of 70, a career low 69 and a 72 for a 211 total. . . Roy had his best finish of the Spring at the Midwest Regional #3 where he tied for 26th.

PREP...
Tripp was a First Team All-Eastern Kansas League selection from 2010-12 for Blue Valley West High School ... Was the Eastern Kansas League medalist in 2011 and the runner-up in 2010 ... Placed 11th at the AJGA Scissortail in 2010 ... Was 48th out of 175 at the Optimist International Tournament with a 304 total in 2012 ... Placed eighth out of 164 players at the Kansas Junior Amateur in 2012 ... Helpled Blue Valley West to Eastern Kansas League runner-up finishes three times and a Class 6A State runner-up finish ... Lettered for the Blue Valley West basketball team 2011-12 ... Was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars from 2009-12, on the Principal's Honor Roll and was an Eastern Kansas League Scholar Athlete from 2009-12 ...
