Thomas Baumann returns as an assistant coach for the Panthers for his ninth year with the program in 2021-22.
 
Baumann competed for Missouri and served as an assistant for the Tigers after he graduated in 2008. He was a four-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s honor roll and was a three-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree.
 
Baumann also worked with the Columbia Swim Club for five years and led that program’s elite age groups.
 
A native of Chicago, he was born in France and lived there until he was eight years old before moving to the United States.
