Son of Michael and Linda Bell.
AT DRURY...
JUNIOR
Competed in four events for the Panthers at the 2012 NCAA-II National Meet with his highest finish of eighth in the 1650 Free (15:38.84). . . Had a top 20 finish in the 400 IM coming in 15th (4:00.52). . . Was 22nd in the 1000 Free (9:33.49) and placed 25th in the 500 Free (4:36.72).
SOPHOMORE
Jason competed in four events for the Panthers at the 2010 NCAA-II National Meet with his best finish of 10th coming in the 400 IM. . . Jason was 18th in the 1650 Free and had a pair of 28th place finishes in the 1000 Free and the 500 Free. . . Took first place in the 400 IM at the New South Conference Championships.
FRESHMAN
Competed at the 2009 NCAA-II National Championship for the Panthers and finished 25th in the 1650 Free and 30th in the 1000 Free. . . Also qualified for nationals in the 400 IM and the 500 Free.
PREP...
Qualified for the Junior Nationals at state while at Klein Collins High School in Houston, Texas. . . In 2007 Jason was a state finalist in the 200 IM and in 2007-08 he competed at the Junior Nationals in the 200 IM, 400 IM and the 200 Breast. . . Is the 200 IM record holder at Klein Collins High School. . . Graduated with a 3.9 grade point average.
