CAREER
Senior season he ran in three meets with a 12th place finish in the mile at the Missouri Southern State Invitational and a 16th place finish at the GLVC Indoor Championship. . . Ran the 1500 meter at the GLVC Outdoor Championship and placed 11th. . . Junior year Case had his highest finish in 2011 at the Missouri S&T/Dewey Allgood Meet in the 1,500 meter where he placed fifth (4:05.02), also his best time of the year in the 1,500 meter. . . As a sophomore he was on the first place distance medley relay team at the Central Missouri/Mule Relays (10:32.88) and at the GLVC Indoor Championship (10:15.64). . . Case earned First Team All-GLVC Indoor honors. . . Freshman season Van Arkel placed second in the 5K at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships (14:57.86). . . Qualified for the Outdoor Junior National Track and Field Championships in the 5,000 meter.

SENIOR
Ran in three meets with a 12th place finish in the mile at the Missouri Southern State Invitational and a 16th place finish at the GLVC Indoor Championship. . . Ran the 1500 meter at the GLVC Outdoor Championship and placed 11th.

JUNIOR
Had his highest finish in 2011 at the Missouri S&T/Dewey Allgood Meet in the 1,500 meter where he placed fifth (4:05.02), also his best time of the year in the 1,500
meter. . . Was eighth in the 400 meter at the Central Missouri Mule Relays (9:09.58). . . Had a 14th place finish in the 1,500 meter at the Wichita State/KT Woodman Meet (4:09.52).

SOPHOMORE
Was on the first place distance medley relay team at the Central Missouri/Mule Relays (10:32.88) and at the GLVC Indoor Championship (10:15.64). . . Case earned First Team All-GLVC Indoor honors. . . He had two fourth place finishes in the 1,500 meter coming at the Missouri Southern/Bob Laptad/Bill Williams Invitational and at the GLVC Outdoor Championship.

FRESHMAN
Placed second in the 5K at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships (14:57.86). . . Qualified for the Outdoor Junior National Track and Field Championships in the 5,000 meter. . . Placed 44th at the Great Lakes Regional. . . Turned in a time of 3:59.71 in the 1,500 meter at the Pittsburg/State Gorilla Classic.
