SENIOR
His time of 1:59.66 in the 800 Meter ranked second fastest all time for an Indoor race coming with a fifth place finish at the Kansas/Bob Timmons Challenge . . . Ran a 1:58.92 twice coming at the Southwest Baptist Invitational (5th place) and the Missouri Southern Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Meet (15th place) . . . Placed fourteenth in the 800 Meter at the Missouri  S&T Dewey Allgood Meet.

JUNIOR
Clayton ran in the 800 Meter at the Kansas/Bob Timmons Challenge and placed fifth with a time of 2:00.55 and was 11th at the Mizzou Collegiate Challenge in the 800 with a time of 2:02.85).

SOPHOMORE
One of the Panthers key runners in the 800 meter Clayton ran his fastest time at the GLVC Outdoor Championship (1:58.65). . . Ran a 1:59.02 at the Harding/Bison Invitational and placed fourth and ran a 1:59.83 at the GLVC Outdoor Championship for 12th. . . Ran the mile at the Missouri Southern State Invitational.

FRESHMAN
An 800 and 1,500 meter runner, Clayton had two 10th place finishes in the 800 meter, those coming at the Pittsburg State Invitational (2:09.31) and at the Missouri S&T/Dewey Allgood Meet (2:00.41). . . Was 16th in the 800 meter at the GLVC Outdoor Championship (2:01.26). . . Ran the 1,500 meter at the Mizzou Relays and at the Missouri Southern State/Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Meet.

Had top times of 2:01 in the 800 meter, 4:38 in the 1,600 meter, and 16:48 in the 5,000 meter. . . Clayton helped Kickapoo to a third place Class 4A State finish in 2007 in Cross Country. . . He was on the first place 4x800 meter relay team in 2008 in track and field. . . In 2009 Clayton was on the fourth place 4x800 meter relay team at the state meet. . . Graduated with a 4.37 grade point average and was a member of the National Honor Society and was an Academic All-Conference Honorable Mention selection.
