Son of Jaime Villa and Maribel Zapatero.

AT DRURY...
CAREER
Senior season he ran in five meets for the Panthers and won the 3,000 meter at the GLVC Indoor Championship with a time of 8:28.09...Placed second at the Central Missouri Mule Relays in the 3,000 meter (8:41.87) and was second also at the GLVC Outdoor Championship in the 5,000 meter (15:39.35)...Junior season earned First Team All-GLVC Indoor and Outdoor honors... Won the 3,000 meter at both the Pittsburg State Indoor Invitational where he set a new meet record with a time of 8:48.07 and at the GLVC Indoor Championship

SENIOR
Ran in five meets for the Panthers and won the 3,000 meter at the GLVC Indoor Championship with a time of 8:28.09...Placed second at the Central Missouri Mule Relays in the 3,000 meter (8:41.87) and was second also at the GLVC Outdoor Championship in the 5,000 meter (15:39.35)...Came in fourth at the Mizzou Relays in the
5,000 meter (15:05.89).

JUNIOR
Earned First Team All-GLVC Indoor and Outdoor honors... Won the 3,000 meter at both the Pittsburg State Indoor Invitational where he set a new meet record with a time of 8:48.07 and at the  GLVC Indoor Championship...Jaime also won the GLVC Outdoor championship in the 5,000 meter (14:52.91) and was on two first place distance medley relay teams at the Central Missouri/Mule Relays and at the GLVC Indoor Championship...He placed second in the 5,000 meter at the Kansas Relays which had some of the top runners in NCAA-I and NCAA-II...Sophomore season in 2008-09 he was named the GLVC Scholar Athlete of the Year and was earned GLVC Runner of the Year honors...Placed second at the NCAA Regionals and earned Academic All-America honors...As a fresshman he was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Freshman of the Year and earned Drury team honors at the newcomer of the year in 2007-08...Ran a season best 25:29 in the 8k at the GLVC Championship and ran a 32:15 in the 10k at the NCAA Regional meet.

SOPHOMORE
In 2008-09 he was named the GLVC Scholar Athlete of the Year and was earned GLVC Runner of the Year honors...Placed second at the NCAA Regionals and earned Academic All-America honors...Turned in a best time of 24:49 in the 8K at the Harding meet and a top time in the 10K of 31:50 at the NCAA-II National meet where he placed 20th and earned All-American honors.

FRESHMAN 
Was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Freshman of the Year and earned Drury team honors at the newcomer of the year in 2007-08...Ran a season best 25:29 in the 8k at the GLVC Championship and ran a 32:15 in the 10k at the NCAA Regional meet...For track season he ran a 3:58 in the 1500 meter at the Hendrix meet and posted a 14:38 in the 5000 meter at the KU Relays.
