AT DRURY...
SENIOR
Competed in two events for the Panthers in 2013 with a 17th in the 1,500 Meter at the Pittsburg State/Wendy's Invitational and a 21st in the 800 Meter at the GLVC Outdoor Championship.

JUNIOR
Placed a season high fifth with a time of 4:35.84 in the mile at the Central Missouri/Mule Relays. . . Was ninth at the Missouri Southern/Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (4:10.63). . . Matt placed 12th at the Harding/Bison Invitational in the 1,500 meter (4:10.79).

SOPHOMORE
Matt ran in six events in 2011 with his highest finish coming at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational hosted by Missouri Southern State, where he placed third in the 1,500 meter with a time of 4:03.24. . . Was fourth in the mile at the GLVC Indoor Championship (4:25.81), his best mile time of the year and was fifth at the Kansas Jayhawk Classic in the mile (4:30.40).

FRESHMAN
Matt was one of the Panthers top runners in 2010 and had his top finish at the Missouri S&T/Dewey Allgood Invitational where he placed second in the 1,500 meter (4:01.88). . . Matt also finished third in the 1,500 meter at the Missouri Southern/Bob Laptad/Bill Williams Invitational (4:05.43), third at the Harding/Bison Invitational (4:01.72) and eighth at the GLVC Outdoor Championship (4:05.30). . . He competed in the mile and placed sixth at the Missouri Southern/Fazoli/Baymont Inn Invitational and was on the first place distance medley relay team at the Central Missouri/Mule Relays.

PREP...
Set the school record for Rolla High School in the mile (4:20) where he placed sixth at the Class 4A State Championships in 2009. . . In 2008-09 he was also on the school record setting 800 meter sprint medley relay team (1:57.80). . . In 2008 he was 17th at the state meet and in 2007 he won the district in the 1,600 meter.
