CAREER
One of the best runners in DU track and field history, Steven placed third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the GLVC Outdoor Championship (9:13.63) and set the DU Outdoor record and earned First Team All-GLVC honors. . . Also broke the DU Indoor record in the mile at the Central Missouri Mule Relays with a time of 4:24.94). . . Was fourth at the Missouri Southern State/Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational in the 1,500 meter (4:07.65) as a graduate student. . . Senior season Busch had two second place finishes, one at the Mizzou Relays in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (9:34.08) and the other coming at the 1,500 meter at the Dewey Allgood Meet hosted by Missouri S&T (4:02.21). . . Had a very strong junior season with a first place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Harding Bison Invitational and was third at both the Central Missouri Mule Relays and at the Pittsburg State Indoor Invitational in the 3,000
meter. . . Was fourth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic and was 10th at the GLVC Indoor Championship in the 3,000 meter. . . Sophomore year he was the Great Lakes Valley Conference champion in the 3000 meter steeplechase (9:27). . . Placed fourth in the 3000 meter at the Mizzou Relays and was fourth at the GLVC Championships in the 5000 meter (15:16).
GRADUATE
A First Team All-GLVC selection, Steven was one of Panthers top runners where he placed third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the GLVC Outdoor Championship (9:13.63) and set the DU outdoor school record. . . His mile time of 4:24.94 at the Central Missouri Mule Relays set the DU indoor record. . . Was fourth at the Missouri Southern State/Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational in the 1,500 meter (4:07.65). . . Finished in the top 10 at all six meets he competed in with a seventh place finish in the 1,500 meter at the Pittsburg State/Wendy's Invitational and a eighth place finish in the 3,000 meter at the GLVC Indoor Championship.
SENIOR

Was third twice also, once in the 3,000 meter at the Central Missouri Mule Relays (8:43.95) and once at the GLVC Outdoor Championship in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (9:19.38).
JUNIOR
One of the Panthers top distance runners, Steven took first place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Harding Bison Invitational and was third at both the Central Missouri Mule Relays and at the Pittsburg State Indoor Invitational in the 3,000
meter. . . Was fourth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic and was 10th at the GLVC Indoor Championship in the 3,000 meter.
SOPHOMORE
Was the Great Lakes Valley Conference Champion in the 3000 meter steeplechase (9:27). . . Placed fourth in the 3000 meter at the Mizzou Relays and was fourth at the GLVC Championships in the 5000 meter (15:16).

Was the Student Body President at Chaparral High School in Parker, Colorado and an academic all-state honorable mention honoree in 2006-07.
