Played in and started 101 games at Drury with 50 hits, 23 runs, 15 walks, 13 RBIs and 6 doubles.
SENIOR
Alyssa tied for second on the team with 15 runs scored and had two runs in four games for the Panthers. . . Had 30 hits with a career high three hits along with two runs and two RBI on a homer at Southwest Baptist on April 12. . . Sargent played and started 49 games at catcher for the Panthers with 270 putouts and 12 assists. . . She had eight RBIs on the year with five doubles, a triple, seven walks and stolen bases vs. Northeastern State and at Southwest Baptist.
JUNIOR
Alyssa was the Panthers starting catcher in all 52 games and had 20 hits on the season with a season high two hits in four games those coming at Lincoln on March 9, at UMSL on April 12, at Southwest Baptist on April 14 and on April 21 vs. Lincoln . . . Sargent scored eight runs and had five RBIs. . . Alyssa was walked eight times with two walks at Lewis on April 27 . . . She recorded a double at Lincoln. . . Recorded 225 put outs and 14 assists behind the plate.
PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Alyssa comes to Drury from Monterey Peninsula College where she was a captain and earned Second Team All-Region honors in 2014. . . . Last season Alyssa had a .977 fielding percentage and had a .348 slugging percentage with 12 RBIs . . . Her freshman season at Monterey Peninsula she had a .899 fielding percentage, hit .300, was top 20 in the Coast-South Conference with 25 RBIs and posted a .336 on base percentage and a .402 slugging percentage . . . Earned First Team All-Region honors in 2011 and was the Defensive Catcher of the Year in 2012 while at Greenway High School in Desert Hills, Arizona . . . Was a two year team captain at Greenway and helped her team to a four state playoffs. . . She was a Second Team All-Region selection as a freshman in 2009 and as a sophomore in 2010.
