AT DRURY...
SENIOR
The Panthers starter at second base, Barrow earned Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors...Shawna broke a Drury season record with 71 hits, broke the Drury record for longest hitting streak with 17 games and led the GLVC at 1.27 hits per game...Had 10 three hit games on the 2011 season...Barrow also broke the single season stolen base record with 36, which ranked 20th nationally and was second in the GLVC in stolen bases per game at .64...Also matched the single game record for stolen bases with three...She had three stolen bases in three games, those coming vs. Southern Indiana on April 23, at Northern Kentucky on March 20 and vs. Eastern New Mexico on February 19...Matched the team lead with 45 runs...Scored a season high three runs twice, those in games vs. Pittsburg State on April 27 and at Rockhurst on April 9...Was second on the team and 15th in the GLVC with a .346 batting average which is the fourth best all-time for a season at DU and ranked in the GLVC...Tied for fourth most RBIs on the team with 25 and had a season high three RBIs in a game three times, those in games vs. Southern Indiana on April 23, vs. Central Missouri on April 12 and vs. Bellarmine on March 12...Had 13 walks with a season high two in three different games...Recorded eight doubles on the year and had triples vs. Central Missouri on April 12 and vs. Truman State on February 28...Homered vs. Bellarmine on March 12...Had a .388 on base percentage and a .420 slugging percentage...Was hit by a pitch twice in three games which is the most ever by a Panther in a game...Her 114 assists are fifth most by a Panther for a season.

Is a native or Ramona, California and played two years for Coach Mark Eldridge at Palomar College before transferring to Abilene Christian...Shawna started all 52 games, hit .375 with 42 runs, 69 hits, .495 slugging percentage and stole 45-of-48 bases...Her stolen base mark set both a season and a ACU career high...Shawna earned Second Team All-Lone Star Conference honors at ACU...While at Palomar College she played in 43 games for the Comets and hit .380 for the third highest batting average on the team...She earned First Team All-Pacific Coast Conference honors both seasons...Barrow had 60 hits, drove in 28 runs and had a .500 on base percentage...She led Palomar in steals with 23 her freshman season...She was a four-time All-Valley League selection at Ramona High School.
