Named Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference...second in the GLVC with 29 stolen bases, and swiped a single-season high three at William Jewell…He matched his career high of three hits at Truman State….Finished fifth on the team with 28 runs scored…Set a career-best three walks vs. Maryville and was walked 18 times on the season….Played in 48 games and made 45 starts in the outfield for the Panthers during the 2018 season.

2017
Led Drury in stolen bases with 16 in his freshman season…He hit .275 on the season with 53 hits, 40 runs, 28 RBIs, and 21 walks…Caleb played and started 54 games and had a season high three hits in games vs. Missouri S&T twice and at Quincy…Recorded a season best three runs at Arkansas-Ft. Smith and vs. Missouri S&T twice…Caleb had three RBIs in games vs. Washburn in the Panthers season opening series, at Arkansas-Ft. Smith, and vs. Trevecca Nazarene.

Caleb Essick was in a redshirt season at Missouri State and transfers to Drury with four years of eligibility...He was a Class 5 All-State selection at Ozark in 2015 as a high school senior hitting .351 with 16 stolen bases while going 7-1 with a 1.40 earned run average as a pitcher...Essick was a four-time All-Central Ozark Conference selection as well as an all-district pick.
