Danelle Billings joins the Drury softball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2018 season. Billings was a three-time NAIA All-American having been honored twice at Evangel and last year at Louisiana State-Alexandria.

In 2017, she helped LSU-A to a Red River Athletic Conference championship, an NAIA World Series appearance and a 3rd place finish in the national tournament. In 62 games, Billings hit .465 with 19 home runs, 81 runs batted in and a slugging percentage of .895. She won the league's triple crown owning the top batting average while leading the conference in home runs and RBI's.
Billings was the Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2012 while playing for Evangel and in two years with the Crusaders, holds the school’s all-time record for home runs (29), career batting average (.448), and career slugging percentage (.874).

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Billings graduated from Nixa High School in southwest Missouri.
