Marissa had a season high three hits vs. Southern Nazarene on February 13th and at Lewis on April 27 . . . Ross posted two hits in eight games . . . She had two RBI in games at Lewis and vs. McKendree on April 18 . . . Scored 23 runs on the season with a season best of three coming at Lincoln on March 9 . . . Had seven doubles on the year and hit homers vs. McKendree and at Lewis. . . Was walked 10 times with two of those coming at Southwest Baptist on April 14. . . Stole eight bases and had two at Lewis and at Missouri S&T on March 31 . . . Had a .344 slugging percentage and a .312 on base percentage.

Marissa twice earned First Team All-Conference honors (2011 and 2012) and was a Second Team All-Conference selection in 2010 for Basic High School in Henderson, Nevada. . . She was a four year letterwinner at Basic. . . While at Santa Ana College she earned the Coaches Award her sophomore season. . . Also played basketball and tennis for Basic High School was fourth in the Regional tennis tournament. . . Was a three year letterwinner in basketball and received the Coaches Award her freshman season . . . Was a three-time Scholar Athlete in softball and tennis and twice earned Scholar Athlete honors in tennis.
