Is a transfer from Palomar Community College in California where she earned MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and earned First Team Pacific Coast Conference honors for her team in 2011 and was a 2010 Scholar Athlete and Second Team All-Conference selection. . . Hit .398 with 29 runs, 51 hits, 10 doubles, three homers and stole 14 bases in 2011. . . She helped Palomar win Conference and Regional Championships in 2011. . . Marissa was the team MVP in 2008 for Valley Center High School in Valley Center, California. . . She earned Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2009.
