Per inning Monica was 77th in the nation with a 6.4 strikeout average. . . Threw the first no-hitter in Drury softball history vs. Northeastern State (2/21/12) in a game she struck out six. . . Tied the school record for most strikeouts in a season with 12, which she accomplished twice in games vs. Illinois-Springfield (4/14/12) and vs. Lincoln (3/14/12). . . Recorded 10 K's vs. William Jewell (3/24/12). . . Set the school record with 24 complete games. . . Was 27th in the nation for walks allowed per seven innings (0.99), 42nd for hits allowed per game (5.2), 50th for ERA (1.71) and 77th for victories (17-11). . . Her wins were the second most in a season by a Panther, second to only Kelsea Garthoff's 18 also set in 2012. . . Her ERA was the lowest in Panther softball history and ranked second in the GLVC. . . Held opposing batters to a .203 average, third best in the GLVC. . . Her 31 appearances rank fourth most for a season at DU. . . Earned a save at Rockhurst (4/21/12).

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Earned Pitcher of the Year honors in 2008 at William Penn University. . . In 2009-10 she had a 1.28 ERA and posted a 20-5 record with 176 strikeouts to earn First Team All-Conference. . . In 2010-11 went 9-2 with a 1.36 ERA while at Palomar Community College.
