Shelby Ann comes to Drury from Independence Community College in Kansas and played her highschool ball at Pleasant Hill High School . . . She was MVP of several tournament at Independence C.C. and named Most Improved Freshman on the team . . . In 236 at bats hit .314 scored 50 runs, had 74 hits, 60 singles, 13 doubles, a triple and had 29 RBIs for her two seasons at Independence.
