Kayla Duffey-Mackey

Kayla Duffey-Mackey will enter her fifth year as Drury's Head STUNT coach and her 11th year as a collegiate head coach. The 2026 season will mark the program's second year as an NCAA team.

In Drury's first season as an NCAA team, Mackey led the Panthers to an 8-5 record, including six ranked wins. Drury ended the season ranked 13th in the nation. 

Cailey Cooke earned Drury's first-ever NCAA all-American honor during the 2025 season.
 
Mackey came to Drury after serving as the head cheer and STUNT coach at Southwest Baptist where she started as the head cheer coach in 2015, and added duties as head coach for the STUNT program in 2018. She led the STUNT program to a number five national ranking in Division II in her second hear and the program was in the top 10 the following season. 

Mackey is AACCA national safety certified as well as a certified STUNT coach. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a Bachelor's of Psychology and Counseling in 2015 and a Master's of Education in May of 2018.
 
Mackey was married to Sergeant Joshua Mackey, who is currently serving an Active Guard Reserve position in the Missouri Army National Guard, in March of 2022.
