Alyssa played in 10 games for the Lady Panthers and scored a season high four points vs. Illinois-Springfield on February 5th with two points vs. Northeastern State on November 29th  . . . Andersen had a rebound at Missouri S&T on December 4th and an assist vs. William Jewell on February 19th.

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Alyssa played for the Aurora Christian High School Eagles in suburban Chicago where she was named a Fourth Team All-State selection . . . Andersen earned was the SSC Conference MVP and earned All-Conference honors in 2013 and scored 1,221 career points while averaging 15.5 ppg, third in the area, while averaging four rebounds and two steals per game . . . Scored a career high 26 points her senior season, and once pulled down 10 rebounds. . . Scored 448 points, had 126 rebounds, 47 assists, 56 steals and five blocks her senior season . . . Twice earned Daily Herald/Aurora Beacon All-Area honors, named All-Area Honorable Mention by the Kane County Chronicle, was a BPS Illinois Christian School First Team All-State selection, names Dailey Herald Prep Sports Excellence "Best of the Best" in 2013 and 2014. . . Helped Christian win a pair of regional titles. . . An excellent student, Alyssa graduated with a 4.04 grade point average, and twice earned Academic All-Conference honors. . .  Also threw the shot put at Aurora Christian where she set the school record with a distance of 35'7 and a discus record of 115'6. . . Was a two time state qualifier in the shot put. . . Lead leg starter for the state champion 4x200 Meter Relay team in 2011 and 2013. . . In 2014 was on second place state 4x200 Meter Relay team and in 2013 and 2014 was on second place 4x100 Meter Relay team . . . Earned 2014 Distinguished Student in Athletics Award, was a recipient of the Sports Boosters Scholarship and was received the Distinguished Student in Christian Character Award. . . Was also a member of the High Honor Roll and was a Dunham Scholar.
