Briana scored in double figures 10 times with a career high 21 points vs. Southern Indiana on February 4 going 5-for-8 from three point range. . . Jones notched 14 points vs. Saint Joseph's and had 13 points vs. Bellarmine. . . Had a career high five assists vs. Ashland in the Lady Panthers Midwest Regional contest on March 12. . . Had a career high seven boards in three games, those coming vs. Trevecca Nazarene on November 28, vs. Bellarmine on February 6 and vs. Rockhurst on March 3. . . Had 135 rebounds, 44 assists, 18 steals and shot 80.6% from the free throw line.

Jones scored in double figures twice on the season with a season high 13 points at Missouri S&T on December 4th and 10 points in the Lady Panthers home contest vs. S&T on February 26 including her season best five boards. . . She was 4-for-4 vs. S&T on the 26th and went 5-of-7 in the Lady Panthers contest in Rolla. . . Ranked seventh in the GLVC with a 82.7% free throw percentage on 62-of-75 shooting and was 5-for-5 vs. Bellarmine in the GLVC Tournament. . . Had two steals vs. William Jewell on February 19th and vs. Northeastern State on November 29th. . .  Blocked a pair of shots in the Lady Panthers November 14th game vs. Colorado Christian . . . Shot 44.7% from the floor on 21-of-47 shooting and was 21-of-28 from the free throw line for 75%. . . Played 203 minutes with a season high 25 at Missouri S&T and 18 vs. Northeastern State.
PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
As a freshman at Wichita State, Jones played in 18 games and scored 23 points while grabbing 19 rebounds while averaging just under five minutes per game for the Shockers, who finished 26-7 and qualified for the NCAA tournament in 2013-14. . . In her rookie collegiate season, Jones made 6 of 10 shots (60 percent) and 11 of 13 free throws (85 percent). . .  She had four points and four rebounds in 13 minutes in a December 22 win over Texas-Pan American and four points and four rebounds in 15 minutes in a 93-56 win over Missouri State on March 9. . . Jones was a prep standout at James Madison High School in San Antonio, where she started all four seasons for coach Tracy Hastings. . . Jones was a two-time all-district selection and an all-region selection, and averaged 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.4 blocks as a senior, when she had career-high games of 25 points and 19 rebounds. . .  As a junior, she averaged 13.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.4 steals. . . She graduated with honors and ranked in the top 20 percent of her senior class at James Madison, earning Academic All-District honors.Â
