Jason helped the Lady Panthers to a 26-5 record and the NCAA-II National Tournament where Drury advanced to the Midwest Regional championship game.

Fry, 32, served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, NAIA Division I member Missouri Baptist, for three seasons after serving as a men's assistant at the school the two year's prior. The Austin, Texas native played four years of basketball at Missouri Baptist before beginning his coaching career upon graduation. He coached the boys team at Whitfield High School to two Final Four appearances in his four years there before returning to Missouri Baptist.

"I could not be more excited to have Coach Fry join our women' s basketball program," said Miller, who will enter her third season as head coach of the Lady Panthers this fall. "He excels in player development and loves to be in a gym. His work ethic and passion for the game will be a huge asset for our team. His enthuiasm to be a part of our Drury family and readiness to hit the ground running is why he will be successful from the get-go."

"And it was an instant draw to Coach Miller ... I thought there was chemistry there," Fry added. "I'm really excited to become a part of a terrific, storied program that takes pride in academics and sports as well."

Fry also serves as an assistant director of development for Pure Sweat Co., a St. Louis-based basketball skills development company that ranks as one of the largest in the nation and trains players to compete at the top levels of college and professional basketball.

Fry and wife Katie have an 9-year-old son, Ethan, and are expecting a new addition to the family in September.
