Rachel Swartz is in her second year as a graduate assistant coach and is in her first year in that role with the Lady Panthers in 2018-19. Last year, she served as a graduate assistant with East Tennessee State.Â
The former Missouri State Lady Bears center played from 2013-17 and ranks 12th in program history in games played with 124. With the Lady Bears, she played on two WNIT teams, a Missouri Valley Conference tournament championship team in 2016 as well as their NCAA tournament squad. Swartz graduated from Missouri State with a degree in Communications.
A native of Stanwood, Washington, Swartz averaged a double-double in her junior and senior high school seasons. She helped Stanwood High School to a 25-3 record in her senior year and was named to several All-Star teams representing the state of Washington.
Swartz will complete a Master’s degree in Organizational Communications in the spring of 2019.
