Started and played in all 29 games...averaged 8.2 points and 8.1 rebounds...shot .559 from the field...was fourth in the GLVC in blocks per game with 1.2...scored a season high 16 points on Jan. 23 against Indianapolis with seven rebounds...blocked a season high four shots at Quincy on Feb. 8...scored double-digit points 13 times...recorded 16 rebounds twice, Jan. 30 vs Upper Iowa and Feb. 13 vs Rockhurst...had six double-doubles with her top one being against Arkansas Fort Smith on Nov. 26 with 12 points and 14 rebounds

Played in 29 games in her first season at Drury...averaged 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds while playing in an average of 12.3 minutes per game...shot .649 from the field, hitting 63 of 97 shots...was 1 for 3 from three-point range...went 30 for 43 from the free throw line for a .698 percentage...scored a season-high 18 points and was 7 for 11 from the field vs. Rockhurst in the GLVC Quarterfinals on March 8...also had a season-high 8 rebounds in that March 8 game vs. Rockhurst...scored in double-figures five times, including 13 points in her second college game, Nov. 16 vs. Missouri Baptist.
HIGH SCHOOL
Mendel was the state's Co-Player of the Year in Class 4 as she averaged 18.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1.8 steals for Ava High School last year...She was named the Player of the Year in the South Central Association and in District 11 for the second year in a row...Mendel scored 1,485 points and had 911 rebounds in her career and has been named an All-State performer for two straight seasons...She led the Bears to three-straight district titles and 21 wins or more in her three seasons on the varsity squad and was named to this year'sÂ
