Played in 17 games and averaged 2.5 points...was 16 for 35 from the field for a .457 percentage...went 11 of 16 from the free throw line (.688)...scored a season-high 10 points at Missouri S&T on Feb. 22...had a season-high 4 rebounds at Ill. Springfield on Jan. 3...scored 6 points in her Drury debut at Trevecca Nazarene on Nov. 11.

PREVIOUS COLLEGE 
Sydney Hobbs will transfer to Drury from New Mexico State Junior College, where she helped her team to a 26-6 record, a Region V championship, and a trip to the round of 16 in the Division I National Junior College Athletic Association Tournament...averaged 4.8 points and 2.6 rebounds and the versatile, multi-position player shot 43 percent from the field...played the 2021-22 season for Texas-Permian Basin (NCAA-II, Lone Star Conf.)...appeared in seven games and scored 11 points.

HIGH SCHOOL
At Onate High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Hobbs averaged 17 points during her senior season and was named All-District 3 in Class 5A...was a four-year letter winner on the varsity squad and was named the Offensive Player of the Year for her high school following her senior season in 2020-21.
