Nic, a First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection and a Second Team All- National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Midwest Region honoree, led the Panthers with 49 RBIs which was sixth most by a Panther, and tied for second on the team with 11 doubles…Perkins finished second in the team for the following categories, hits (76), batting average (.355), and home runs (8)…Nic had a season-high four hits vs. Bellarmine and a season-best four RBIs and nine total bases at Arkansas-Ft. Smith…He bashed two homers at Quincy…Was walked 17 times on the season, earning two walks at Ft. Smith and vs. Wayne State in the NCAA-II National Tournament…Was third on the team with a .528 slugging percentage and ranked…In the field Perkins recorded 15 putouts vs. Truman State and at UMSL…Had a season-high four assists vs. Missouri S&T…Perkins was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 28th round of the MLB Draft.

PREP / PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Perkins was a Louisville Slugger High School All-American at Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, Missouri before signing with Mississippi...Playing for his father, Tony, Perkins was part of Class 5 state championship teams in 2011, 2013 and a state runner-up squad in 2014...He played in 118 varsity games in four years at Francis Howell and was a .405 career hitter with 16 home runs and 118 runs batted in... Nic was a three-time All-State selection, was named the MHSBCA Newcomer of the Year in 2012 and earned St. Charles Athlete of the Year in 2014...At Ole Miss, Perkins saw action as a freshman hitting .274 with seven RBIs in 19 games...He picked up an RBI in a pinch hit plate appearance during an NCAA tournament game in the Los Angeles Regional that year...Last season as a sophomore, Perkins appeared in 12 games and went 1 for 15 at the plate.
