2018-19
Madeline placed sixth in the 200 Free Relay at Nationals and was on the GLVC winning 200 Free Relay and took fifth in the 100 Breast at the GLVC Championships...named Academic All-GLVC.

2017-18
Madeline placed third at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship meet in the 400 IM and was on the 10^th place 800 Free Relay team at the 2018 National meet.

2016-17
Madeline was on the national champion 200 Free Relay team (1:31.03) and took 23^rd in the 200 Breast (2:19.42)…Helped Drury claim the GLVC title in the 400 Free Relay (3:23.96) and took home a fourth place finish in the 100 Breast (1:05.17).

2015-16
Madeline was on the second placed 400 Free Relay team at the GLVC Championships and placed 37th at Nationals in the 100 Free.

High School
Madeline was a two-time MSSHA State Champion and was on the state champion MSSHA team in 2013-14. . . Nelson was named the Ozark Sports Zone Swimmer of the Year for 2015 and helped Glendale claim a conference title. . . Was inducted into the Glendale High School Athletic Hall of Fame. . . Graduated with a 3.8 grade point average and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Best moment you've had as an athlete: Drury vs. MSU dual meet in January 2017, watching the boys' final relay and celebrating after realizing the points had been counted incorrectly and the boys' team actually won the meet along with the girls' team.
