AT DRURY...
CAREER
Two year member of the Panthers, Monica was on two runner-up relay teams her junior season, the 200 and 400 Medley Relay teams. . . Was on the fourth place 400 Medley Relay team her senior season in 2012. . . Turned in five top ten individual finishes in her two seasons. . . Was third in the 100 Breast her junior season and placed seventh in the 100 Fly as a senior.

SENIOR
Helped the Drury women to a second place finish at the 2012 NCAA-II National Meet and finished in the top ten in each of the four events she competed in. . . Was on the fourth place 400 Medley Relay team. . . Her top finish came in the 100 Fly where she was seventh with a time of 55.84. . . Was ninth in the 100 Breast and 10th in the 200 Breast.

JUNIOR
One of the Drury women's top newcomers for the 2011 season, Monica placed third in the 100 Breast and set a new Drury team record with a time of 1:02.20. . . She was 10th in the 200 Breast and 16th in the 100 Fly. . . Was on two second place relay teams at Nationals, those being the 200 Medley and 400 Medley Relay team, which broke a Drury team record with a time of 3:42.21.

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL....
Was the national champion in her native Columbia from 2002-10 in the 50, 100 and 200 Breaststroke. . . Won the gold medal in the 50 Breast for Columbia in the Bolivarian Games in 2009. . . Won the bronze medal in the 50 Breast at the South American Championship in 2004. . . Is her country's national record holder in the 50 Breast. . . On the bronze medal winning 400 medley relay team in 2010 at the South American Games.
