Asia Hart joins the DU Cross Country/Track & Field staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach and comes to Drury from Queens University in Charlotte, NC.

At Queens, Hart competed as a member of the Track & Field Team in the sprints and hurdles. She was a 12 time South Atlantic All-Conference Outdoor performer including a 5th place finish in the 200 meters, a 2nd place finish in the 400 meters in 57.39, and running a leg on the winning 4x400 team which took first overall. As a sophomore Hart placed 1st in the 400 meters in 56.04, first in the 400 hurdles in 62.14 and first in the 4x400 relay at the conference championships.  As a Junior Hart won the 400 meter hurdles in 63.11 and placed 3rd in the 400 meters in 57.43.  She continued her success as a Senior winning the 400 hurdles in 61.01, placing 2nd in the 100 hurdles in 14.68, and running a leg on the 5th place 4x100 meter relay team.

Coach Hart will be working with the Sprinters and Hurdlers and some jumpers here at Drury. Hart earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Queens University.  She is from Hoover, Alabama and plans to pursue her Master’s Degree in Communications here at Drury.
