Laura ran at Parkway West High School in St. Louis and recorded a personal best 21:31 in the 5K and a personal best 2:28 in the 800...Ritthamel earned the Heart of the Team Award and the Most Dedicated Award at Parkway West...She was a Scholar Athlete and an Honor Roll student who graduated with a 3.6 grade point average.
