Played on Drury volleyball team and joins track team for first season at DU in 2012 indoor season.
PREP/VOLLEYBALL...
Laynie Was named the Female Athlete of the Year in 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Overland Park, Kansas ... She was also the Kansas City Star Scholar Athlete of the Year and a 6.80 Sports Radio Scholar Athlete honoree ... Helped the MAVS U-18 Club Team to a top 15 finish in the Open Division ... Was part of three St. Thomas Aquinas teams that were Sub-State Champions ... Aquinas was a state runner-up both in 2010 and 2011 ... Graduated Summa Cum Laude, was a Kansas Scholar and earned an English Department Award.
