One of the Panthers top runners in 2013, Sari won the 5,000 Meter at the Missouri Southern State/Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational (17:52.46) ... Higgins was near the top nearly all season and turned in four second place finishes and two third place finishes ... Placed second in the mile at the Central Missouri/Mule Relays, was second in the 3,000 Meter at the Mizzou Invitational, second in the 5,000 Meter at the Pittsburg State/Wendy's Invitational and her time of (17:45.29) was second fastest ever by a Panther ... Also was second at the St. Louis Billiken Invitational in the 10,000 Meter ... Was third in the 10,000 Meter at the GLVC Outdoor Championship (37:04.36) second fastest time ever by a Panther and was third in the 1,500 meter at the St. Louis Billiken Invitational with a time of 4:52.18 good for fifth fastest time ever in the 1,500 by a Panther.
SOPHOMORE
A Second Team All-GLVC selection, Sari took two first place finishes in the 5,000 meter coming at the Missouri Southern State/Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational where she had her fastest time of the year (17:57.26) and set the school record. . . Also took first at the Pittsburg State/Wendy's Invitational where she ran an 18:08.56 . . . Was second in the 10,000 meter at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (37:32.14) for a new Panther record and placed fourth in the 5,000 meter at the GLVC Outdoor Championship. . . Took a third at the Missouri Southern State Invitational in the 5,000 meter with a time of 18:50.63 which was second fastest ever by a Panther for the indoor season.
FRESHMAN
Had a fifth place finish at the Missouri Southern State/Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Meet in the 5,000 meter (19:18.49). . . Was eighth in the 5,000 meter at the Mizzou Relays (19:14.90).

Qualified for state three years while at Hillcrest High School, in Class 3A her sophomore season and Class 4A her junior and senior seasons. . . Sari placed 51st at state in 2009 and earned Second Team All-Conference honors. . . Her top times were 19:59 in the 5K in 2008, 5:30 in the 1600 in 2010 and 12:04 in the 3200 in 2010.
