Biography

AT DRURY
2018-19
Curnutt wrestled in three tournaments for the Panthers and saw action in two duals during the 2018-19 season. Cody placed 3rd in the Jet Invite in December going 3-1 in the tournament. Off the mat Cody was also recognized for his academic excellence as he was named both Geico Academic All-GLVC and NCAA II All-Academic by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

2017-18
After a great redshirt season during his freshman season, Cody grew into the HWT during his redshirt freshman season. Curnutt placed 5th at the Kaufman-Brand Open before placing 4th at the Drury Open. Curnutt was named to the NWCA All-Academic Team for his outstanding performance in the classroom.
 
2016-17
Cody wrestled unattached as a heavyweight for the Panthers…recorded two victories at the Bob Smith Open hosted by Fort Hays State University and placed 6th Pat “Flash” Flanagan Open.

HIGH SCHOOL
Curnutt won the Wins Award at Ozark with 43 and was a state qualifier who accumulated the most team points his senior season...Was in the finals match at five different tournaments in 2016...Was the COC runner up in 2016 and was awarded the most improved wrestler for the 2015 season...Helped Ozark to a 17-6 dual record in 2016 and a fourth place team finish at the Missouri Duals as well as a third place finish at the Missouri Duals in 2015.
