AT DRURY
2018-19
Otis served as a returning team captain moving up from 141
lbs to 149 lbs in the early part of the 2018-19 season. Seth went 5-3 in duals claiming a tournament championship at the Jet Invite and also represented Drury at the NCAA Regional Championships.
2017-18
As a Redshirt Freshman, Seth clinched a starting spot at 141 lbs during the 2017-18 season. Otis claimed victories for the Panthers in dual meets against Northwestern College, University of the Ozarks, Truman State, University of Central Missouri and Ouachita Baptist University. Seth finished his season helping the Panthers to three straight dual meet victories before dropping a pair a tough matches at the NCAA Division II Super Regional Championships. Seth was named to the NWCA All-Academic Team for his outstanding performance in the classroom.
2016-17
Seth
redshirted during the 2016-17 season… While wrestling in the
141lb weight class, Otis claimed wins at the Dan Harris Open, the Joe
Parisi Open, and the Roger
Denker Open…wrestled in six tournaments for the Panthers.
HIGH SCHOOL
Seth was a state medalist in 2016 and placed sixth at the State meet for Coach Gary
Mayabb at
Staley High School in Kansas City...Was a very good student who graduated with a 3.8 grade point average.
