Bryan Daniels will be in his sixth year as head coach of Drury University's men's golf program in 2025-26 after he came on board on Jan. 2, 2020.
During the 2024-25 season, Drury won one tournament, Arch Cup, and finished fifth in the GLVC. Hunter Jowers earned all-GLVC honors during the season.
In 2023-24, Drury's Hunter Jowers was the GLVC Runner-Up at the conference championship and became the program's first all-conference honoree since 2019. The Panthers finished tied for fifth as a team and missed medal match play by just seven shots. Drury registered a tournament win during the year, taking first at the Lewis Invitational. Jowers was named the GLVC Golfer of the Week twice during the season.
The Panthers finished fifth at the GLVC Championship Tournament in 2023, narrowly missing a chance to advance to the league semifinals. Their fifth-place finish improved their placement by four spots from the previous year.
In 2021-22, the Panthers had three top five finishes including a third-place finish in the NSIC Tournament while Walker Tynes was the individual runner-up in that event. The Panthers were ninth at the GLVC Championship while Tynes tied for 20th. Tony Brandt and Walker Tynes were both named Srixon/Cleveland Golf NCAA Division II All-America Scholars.
In 2021, the Panthers finished in seventh place at the Great Lakes Valley Conference championships while DU golfer Clayton Kaiser tied for 14th on the individual leader board.
Daniels' first spring as a coach was cut short by the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to serving as a coach at Drury, Daniels is currently the Director of Golf and General Manager at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar, a position he has held since 2002. He also serves as the Midwest Section PGA Ozark District Director and the Midwest Section PGA Tournament Co-Chairman.
Daniels served as an assistant coach for his alma mater at Truman State from 1999-2001 and has worked as an assistant pro at country clubs in Kirksville, Missouri, and Quincy, Illinois. Daniels earned a degree in Business Management from Truman State in 1999.
