Bryce Walker

Bryce Walker enters his first season as head coach of the Drury wrestling program in 2026.
 
Walker brings a broad base of experience in developing and leading successful collegiate wrestling programs to Springfield. Most recently, he has spent three seasons as head assistant coach at fellow NCAA Division II institution UNC Pembroke, where he also competed as a student-athlete before embarking on his career path as a coach.
 
Most recently, Walker contributed to a 39-17 dual meet record during his three-year stint at UNC Pembroke. He helped oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the UNC Pembroke program while also guiding the Braves' individual skill development.

Walker coached 11 NCAA national qualifiers and three All-Americans, helping UNC Pembroke to a top-10 NCAA Division II ranking. In addition to his role at Pembroke, Walker served as lead technician at the North Carolina Pride Wrestling Club, where he coached numerous high school state champions, place-winners, and All-Americans. 

Walker earned two degrees during his time at UNC Pembroke, while helping lead the program as a three-time captain and national qualifier during his career as a student-athlete. He completed his bachelor's degree in kinesiology before earning a master's degree in sport administration in 2025.
