Hudson Harkness enters his first year as the Assistant Director of Media Relations in the 2025-26 academic year. 

Harkness joined Drury's Athletic Department as a GA in August of 2024 and worked with all of Drury's 22 NCAA sports in addition to working for the Great Lakes Valley Conference during the GLVC Softball Championship Tournament and was Drury's media representative at the 2024 women's soccer NCAA-II Midwest Regional Championship and the 2025 NCAA-II softball regional in Saginaw, Michigan.
 
Harkness, a graduate of Northwood University (MI), works under Eric Doennig the Associate AD for Media Relations.
 
At Northwood, Harkness worked in their Athletic Communications office as a Media Relations Student Assistant while also being the Voice of the Timberwolves on the Great Midwest Digital Network for volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball. Harkness was also a long snapper on the Northwood Football team. He was the first writer of ‘Timbys Today’ a monthly newsletter sent to Northwood alumni, families, and faculty, highlighting the past month in Northwood Athletics.
 
Along with working in the Northwood Athletic Department, Harkness was the President of the Northwood Sport Management Association (SPMA), the Social Media Director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and the Community Relations Chair of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Harkness also worked with the Great Lakes Loons, the Class A Midwest League affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, in their radio production team on 100.9 The Mitt, pitch clock operator, and official scorer. 
 
He graduated from Northwood in three years with a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus in Sport Management.
 
A native of Howard City, MI where he graduated from Newaygo High School in 2021.
