Kevin Boyer

Kevin Boyer will be in his seventh season as head coach of Drury’s shotgun sports team in 2024-25.
 
Boyer came to Drury after serving as the assistant middle school principal at Logan-Rogersville, and he helped start the trap-shooting team in the district in 2011. Logan-Rogersville has won numerous high school and junior high state championships as well as three national titles. The program produced several individual state champions, AIM All-Stars, and two national champions.
 
Boyer has been the Panthers shotgun sports coach since 2018. In his first season, sophomore Quincy Standage finished fifth overall in addition to winning a national title in the Super Sporting Clays event at the ACUI Collegiate Clay Targets Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
 
In 2023, Noah Boyer captured the Division II Skeet national championship and the Panthers finished second nationally as a team.

While at Logan-Rogersville, Boyer served as the head coach for the cross country and track & field programs and led the Wildcats to three state championships in cross country.
 
Boyer and his wife Allison, also a teacher and coach at Logan-Rogersville, have three children: Lindsay, a University of Arkansas graduate now residing in Rogers, Arkansas, Ethan, who attends Lindenwood University and is a member of their shotgun team and Noah, who attends Drury and is a member of the Panthers shotgun team.
