Mark Campbell

Mark Campbell is back for his second season as the assistant coach of the Drury men’s soccer program in 2025.
 
In 2024, Campbell helped lead the team to an 8-6-4 record, with a 6-5-3 mark in GLVC play. The team most notably tied McKendree 1-1, who ended the season ranked fourth nationally, and beat Truman State at home 4-1. Carson Morgan, a junior defender, led the team in goals with seven and earned NCAA-II All-Region first team and All-GLVC first team honors.

Campbell joined the Drury men's soccer program as an assistant coach in 2024. Campbell was the assistant boys and girls soccer coach at Republic High School from 2022-24 and was the Assistant Youth Director for Sporting Springfield from 2020-22. 

Originally from Manchester, England, Campbell was a defender and played for Missouri Valley in the NAIA and played on a 2015 team that won the Heart of America Conference championship, went 20-3-1, and advanced to the national semifinals. The Vikings were 33-8-3 in his two seasons as a player. Campbell was an assistant coach at Missouri Valley from 2017-20 and helped his team to two conference titles in addition to three national tournament appearances. 

Campbell graduated from Missouri Valley College with a degree in Exercise Science & Business with an emphasis in Sports Management. He also owns a Master's of Business Administration from Columbia College.
