Owen Simmons enters his first year as the Graduate Assistant in Compliance for the 2025-26 academic year.
Simmons, a graduate of Illinois State, works under Karen Henson, the Associate AD for Compliance.
At Illinois State, Simmons worked closely with the NIL Director and Deputy AD. He also served as Vice President for the Sports Marketing Student Association during the 2023-24 academic year. Throughout his undergrad, Simmons maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average.Â
Simmons graduated from Illinois State in December 2024. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics.
A native of Genoa, Ill., Simmons graduated from Geneo-Kingston High School in 2021. Â
