Drury University Athletics

Erin Kineman is entering her 19th season as Drury's head athletic trainer and her 23rd overall in working with Drury athletes in 2024-25. 

Kineman played a key role in Drury's return-to-activities plan as she helped prepare the campus for the 2020-21 school year in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. She and her staff conducted COVID testing for Drury's entire campus, students, faculty, and staff and the athletics training staff were crucial in Drury being one of the few four-year institutions in the country that maintained in-person, seated classes throughout the 2020-21 academic year. 

While overseeing the care of Drury's athletes in all 22 NCAA sports and six non-NCAA sports, Kineman works specifically with DU volleyball, men's and women's swimming, baseball and men's and women's golf.

Kineman is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a 2000 graduate of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where she earned her athletic training degree and teaching certificate (K-12).

Prior to landing at Drury, she was employed at Missouri State University, where she earned her Master's degree in Secondary Education.

Erin and her family reside in Springfield.
