Specht was named MVP of the Emerald Beach Resort/Texas A&M-Kingsville Invitational after leading the Panthers to a 4-0 mark with four consecutive 3-0 shutout victories. She has helped DU to a 7-1 overall start, the program's best since it moved to the NCAA-II level in 1994-95.
