Joan Casanovas placed in five events at the NCAA-II national swimming & diving championships in Greensboro, North Carolina last week and won the national title in the 500 freestyle. The sophomore from Spain was 3rd in the 200 Free, 11th in the 1000 Free and 12th in the 1650 Free. Casanovas was also on Drury’s 800 Free Relay team that finished 12th.
