KANSAS CITY - The Drury volleyball Panthers fell 3-2 at Rockhurst in GLVC play in their regular season finale here on Saturday.
Drury finishes the 2014 season with a 16-11 overall record and 7-11 record in the GLVC play. Rockhurst improves to 25-3 overall and 16-2 in the GLVC. The Hawks captured the win by match scores of 25-13, 21-25, 22-25, 25-17 and 17-15.
Mina House had a season high 17 kills and finished with a .344 hitting percentage with just six errors on 32 attacks to pace the Panthers.
BJ Specht matched her season high 18 kills and
Laynie Timmons had 15 kills and hit .312.
Brooke Antenen finished with 51 assists, 16 digs and five block assists.
Mallory Long added 11 digs for the Panthers.
Rockhurst was led by Preecy Seever who had 19 kills and Alyssa Arnold who posted 18 kills. Rockhurst finished with a .270 hitting percentage and Drury finished with a .196 mark.
