ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T claimed a 3-1 GLVC victory over the Drury volleyball Panthers at the Gale Bullman Multi-purpose Building on Tuesday.
Drury is now (8-4, 3-4 GLVC) and Missouri S&T improved to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Miners claimed the victory by scores of 19-25, 26-24, 25-21 and 25-19.
Leading the way offensively for the Panthers was freshman
Dakota Santore who had a season high 15 kills and hit .297 with four errors on 37 attacks.
BJ Specht had a team high 14 digs and added 12 kills while
Mina House added eight kills with just two errors on 16 attacks for a .375 hitting percentage.
Missouri S&T was paced by Jackie Pyles who had a team high 19 kills and Krista Haslag who hit .500 with 15 kills and committed just one error in 28 attacks. Allie Plunk added 47 assists.
The Miners hit .262 for the match and Drury hit .229.
The Drury volleyball Panthers will go to Maryville on Friday for a 7 p.m. match vs. the Saints.
