INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indianapolis scored a pair of first half goals for a 2-1 GLVC win over the Drury women's soccer team here on Sunday.
Drury is now 8-4-4 overall and 7-4-3 in the GLVC and UINDY moves to 4-8-4 overall and 3-7-4 in the GLVC.
Kerri Morris scored her third goal in the last two games and her ninth of the season at the 14:05 mark off a
Mariah Gove assist.
The Greyhounds tied it up at the 25:54 mark when Sierra Singer scored her fourth goal of the season on a Lindsay Abrams assist. Jocelyn Evans put through the game winner for the Greyhounds at the 33:35 mark.
Drury outshot the Greyhounds 20-10 with
Ciara O'Brien taking a team-high five with three of those on goal,
Emily Cline had three of her four shots on goal and both
Mariah Gove and Morris each took three shots.
Drury will play their regular season finale on Tuesday at Missouri S&T with game time set for 5 p.m.
