Drury Softball will hit the road this weekend for Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheaders at Maryville (Saturday, noon) and Missouri-St. Louis (Sunday, noon) in St. Louis.

Chantiel Wilson's Panthers are 13-21 overall and 6-12 in the GLVC entering Saturday's play with Maryville's Saints (10-23, 6-12). UMSL, ranked third nationally and the GLVC leader at 16-2 in league play (and 31-3 overall), will take a 13-game winning streak into a Saturday doubleheader with Missouri S&T before hosting DU.
The Panthers split a home doubleheader with Rockhurst on Monday in GLVC play before dropping a non-conference pair to Missouri Southern on Tuesday at Thompson Field. Maryville has been idle since dropping two at Truman State last Saturday.
The Saints are batting .262 as a team, while their pitching staff has an ERA of 3.98 to rank 13th in the GLVC in both categories. Nicole Taylor is hitting .394 with two homers, 16 RBIs and 13 stolen bases to pace the Maryville offense, while Wendy Macias is 6-9 with a 2.59 earned run average to lead the Saints on the mound.
UMSL will take a .337 batting average as a team (best in the GLVC) and a 2.03 ERA (third) into its twinbill with S&T.
Drury is batting .240 as a team (15th in the GLVC) and has a 2.97 team ERA (ninth) to go with a .966 fielding percentage (seventh).

Kari Hillenburg (12 for her last 25) is batting .327 with 24 runs scored and senior third baseman
Carson Forge is hitting .323 with nine homers and 26 RBIs to pace the DU offensive attack. Sophomore pitcher
Jessica Kjeldgaard is 8-9 with a 2.47 ERA to lead the Drury pitchers.Â
Drury leads the all-time series with Maryville 7-5 and trails UMSL 12-6.
The Panthers will visit Southwest Baptist Tuesday (2 p.m.) for a non-conference doubleheader before returning home to play Illinois Springfield ("Strikeout Cancer/Think Pink" Day) on Saturday, April 18 and McKendree for Senior Day on Sunday, April 19 at Thompson Field, with noon starts both days.
