FAST FACTS: Coach Ryan Swan's Panthers, ranked No. 23 in the NSCAA national Top 25 preseason poll, got off to a rough start last weekend, falling 4-2 to Lindenwood on Saturday and 2-0 to Findlay on Sunday in Quincy, Ill., despite out-shooting their opponents a combined 29-18 over the two matches (and 9-2 on goal). ... William Jewell lost 3-2 to Newman on Sept. 3 in its only match to date. ... Rockhurst, which will play host to Missouri S&T on Friday before visiting the Panthers on Sunday, tied No. 7 Lindenwood 5-5 on Tuesday in St. Charles, blowing a 5-1 lead with 18 minutes left in regulation.
