Ben Bruce capped off a 2-0 GLVC road win with a penalty kick at 72:13 in a 2-0 GLVC road win by the Drury men's soccer team here on Sunday.
Drury improved to (2-4, 2-2 GLVC) and Southern Indiana fell to (3-3, 1-3 GLVC).
Julien Chevy assisted on the early goal by Cross. Cross lead the Panthers with five shots with three of those on goal. Bruce had four shots all on goal and
Antoine Vial recorded three shots two of those on goal.
Drury edged the Screaming Eagles on shots 14 to 13 but was far more accurate placing 11 of those on goal with USI getting just four on goal.
Adam Zehme had six saves for USI and
Blake Andrews posted four saves for the Panthers.
Drury will host McKendree in a GLVC home contest at Harrison Stadium/The Curry Sports Complex Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.
